How long will dispatch & postage take? Will I get my travel sim card before I depart?
Every order is dispatched with Australia Post express postage, which helps us ensure every customer gets their travel sim before their departure date. Express postage takes 1-2 business days to anywhere in Australia. Our dispatch team work hard to promptly process every order. Any customer who is departing very soon, we make sure dispatch happens within 24 hours of order confirmation.
Will the SIM card be compatible with my phone?
In the high majority of cases our sim cards are compatible with all phones, as long as your phone is unlocked and you have picked the right SIM size!
Your phone MUST be unlocked. If your phone is locked to an Australian carrier e.g. Optus or Telstra you will need to get your provider to unlock the phone for you. Most providers will provide this service for free and over the phone.
Your phone or tablet uses certain SIM card sizes and not others so please be careful with which SIM sizes you order. Here is a brief summary of SIM sizes for the most popular phones and devices
Nano – iPhone 5/6/7, Samsung Galaxy S7/8
Micro – iPhone 4 and 4s, Samsung Galaxy S3/4/5 as well as many more
Standard – Usually used for wireless routers and dongles, some tablets and older phones, including the iPhone 3.

Are there any hidden charges with your Prepaid SIMs?
Absolutely not! All our travel sim cards are completely prepaid and non contractual. Your travel sim card will be loaded with the calls, text and data allowances as stated on our product page and last for a certain duration. If the credit runs out or your card expires you will not be charged with any other fees, but to continue your service you can always recharge, we will provide you with instructions on how. Usually our cards can be charged online or in hundreds of retail stores in their native country.
Why do others ask for IMEI numbers and you don’t?
Unlike other suppliers of Prepaid Travel SIM Cards (especially USA Prepaid SIM Card suppliers) who use third party portals to activate travel sim cards and require your IMEI number, we work with network providers all across the world to pre-activate directly. Not only does this process make us more reliable, it keeps your private information away from anyone, particularly third parties.
Can I test my SIM card before I leave?
It is critical that you DO NOT insert your sim card into your phone before arriving to your travel destination. Doing so can interfere with international activation processes and may lead to your cards credit being used due to roaming in Australia with an overseas provider.
Will I Need To Change my Phone Settings (e.g. APN Settings)?
The high majority of Australian handsets have APN settings that accomodate travel sims from all over the world. In some very rare cases, small settings such as APN settings may be required to be altered. The good news is every order comes with a user guide that outlines these settings changes with photos, and they are really easy! No changes will effect the use of your phone overseas or when you head back home to Australia.
